Globtrans is an independent freight forwarder specialising in maritime transport to Algeria. Globtrans was founded in 2003 to offer efficient international transport solutions for Algerian importers.
Historically based in Marseille, France, Globtrans has a subsidiary in Spain (Madrid). Our agencies have a strong expertise Algeria. Our knowledge of the Algerian market benefits among other skills from our sister company, Globtainer, which is established on several sites in Algeria.
As well as specialising in transport to Algeria, Globtrans offers freight forwarding services to many other destinations focusing primarily on the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East.

Safety
Globtrans obtained Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status in October 2011, and this was renewed in 2015. Globtrans has level 2 certification for safety and security.
Environment
As part of its sustainable development policy, Globtrans is committed to protecting the environment and reducing its environmental footprint. To achieve this, we use road hauliers whose vehicles are equipped to Euro 6 standards using Euro 6 catalytic converters and AdBlue. This technology eliminates over 30% of CO2 emissions. 80% of our land-based delivery transport is routed by rail to the port of shipment. This mode of pre-carriage transport enables us to significantly reduce our CO2 emissions.
